PLACES FOR EVERY MIND

B2B Conference and Exhibition for Neuroinclusive Design Across Built and Digital Environments:         Public Spaces and Workplaces

BUSINESS DESIGN CENTRE           |           LONDON           |           29-30TH OCTOBER 2026

59% of line managers do not know how to make a reasonable adjustment to support a neurodivergent employee (ACAS, 2025)

The Purple Pound: £247 Billion Reasons to Design for Inclusion

The Purple Pound represents the annual spending power of disabled and neurodivergent people in the UK. Much of this potential remains untapped because workplaces and public spaces still do not meet everyone's needs.

Join us in unlocking the true value of neuroinclusion.

Because when spaces work for every mind – it's not just good design, it's good business.

What is NeuroPlaces?

At NeuroPlaces, neuroinclusion isn't just a small cog in a large design fair - it's the front and centre.

NeuroPlaces is the first cross-sector conference and exhibition dedicated to neuroinclusive design across built and digital environments. Bringing together venue operators, employers, and neuroinclusive solution providers to explore practical solutions that make spaces and systems truly neuroinclusive.

Spanning across environments that people move through every day – whether physical or digital – such as workplaces, transport hubs, shopping centres, sport stadiums and so on. NeuroPlaces creates a unified marketplace for innovation, collaboration, and most importantly — change.

Our mission? Making spaces truly inclusive for all brain types.

Buro Happold

“I have high hopes of this being a game changer for many businesses and, most importantly, neurodivergent people who deserve places where they feel welcomed and enabled to flourish."

Christine Flintoft-Smith

National Austic Society

"When inclusion is built into the experience, autistic people and their families can enjoy days out with confidence and comfort. We applaud those leading the way and encourage all venues to follow their example in creating spaces where everyone feels welcome."

Amy Edgar

Transpot for London

“The NeuroPlaces conference will be a fantastic opportunity for us to exchange new perspectives with other organisations and individuals, that will help build on the actions in our customer inclusion plan."

87% of autistic adults experience difficulty in public spaces. Inclusive design isn't optional - it's essential.

Why It Matters

Neuroinclusion isn't a side note - customers, regulations, and common sense demand it, and the business opportunity is huge.

An entire community of people, up to 15-20% of the UK, are at risk of facing exclusion from the majority of public spaces and workplaces.

Because so few places are designed with neurodivergent people in mind, silent discrimination often arises unintentionally - from design bias, lack of awareness or systemic neglect. But times are changing. Customers, communities, employees and regulators increasingly expect true inclusivity, and even small changes can make a big difference.

Neurodivergent people represent a significant share of the £247 billion 'Purple Pound' - a market too large to ignore. Every day the UK loses out because of the inclusion gap. Legal and regulatory pressure is also mounting: from the European Accessibility Act (2025) to current UK equality laws. Neuroinclusive design is no longer optional - it's a requirement.

After all, when we design for neurodivergent people, we create better places for everyone, boosting the economy and creating a win-win situation for all.
